Thyroid cancer is a rare type of cancer that affects the thyroid gland, a small gland at the base of the neck. The most common symptom of thyroid cancer is a painless lump or swelling that develops in your neck.

National Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer Tissue bank (iNATT)
The main thrust of our fund raising efforts is directed to provide financial help to establish and maintain this tissue bank to enable research into Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer.

The British Thyroid Association guidelines for the diagnosis and the treatment of thyroid cancer have now been published (July 2014) in the journal “Clinical Endocrinology”. TCSGW were involved in the consultation process and in revising the patient information leaflets that are an accompaniment to the new guidelines.
